28 days in the Himalayan foothills. One tradition. One lineage. One transformation.
Not another yoga course taught from slides. This is a living transmission — at a forest sanctuary in Dehradun where the air is clean, the silence is real, and the teachings are rooted in the unbroken Hatha Yoga tradition.
We'll send you the curriculum, daily schedule, fees, and visa guidance.
Modern life is relentless. You already know something needs to change. This 28-day course is the structured container in which that change happens — not through passive relaxation, but through daily practice, self-study, silence, and the gradual awakening of something more stable inside you.
"We teach yoga as a living discipline. To live it for 28 days is to understand it in a way that no book, no workshop, and no online course can provide."
Rooted in the classical Hatha Yoga lineage — asana, pranayama, shatkarma, mudra, bandha, mantra, and philosophy — every element of this course has been designed for genuine transformation, not just certification.
Daily disciplined asana builds embodied strength, alignment, and sustained energy.
Living with the teachings — not just studying them — trains genuine mental clarity.
Routine, silence, and effort create the conditions for deep emotional resilience.
Discover the meaning and purpose your practice has been pointing toward all along.
In the forest foothills of the
Himalayas, Dehradun
The curriculum is built on eight pillars of classical Hatha Yoga. Each is taught with theory, demonstration, and daily practice — so you don't just know it, you can teach it.
Progressive mastery of the classical postures with an emphasis on alignment, breathwork, and teaching cues you can use with students of every level.
The classical pranayamas: nadi shodhan, bhramari, kapalbhati, bhastrika, and more, taught systematically with the anatomy of breath and the science of the subtle body.
The six purification techniques of classical Hatha Yoga, taught practically and safely under expert supervision. Transformative practices that most yoga schools skip entirely.
The gestures, locks, and energy practices that transform asana from mere physical movement into a vehicle for prana, awakening, and deep inner intelligence.
The vibrational science behind Sanskrit mantra. Pronunciation, meaning, meditation practice, and how mantra can be woven into your classes and daily life with authenticity.
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita, and the foundational concepts that give your practice depth, direction, and lasting meaning.
Applied anatomy for yoga: how the musculoskeletal and nervous systems are affected by practice, how to recognise contraindications, and how to teach safely.
From your first demonstration to your first full class: voice, language, sequencing, observation, and the art of holding a room. You leave ready to teach, not just certified.
Systematic meditation techniques drawn from the Hatha and Tantric traditions, including Yoga Nidra — the practice of conscious deep rest that restores at a cellular level.
The day begins before the heat rises — in silence, breath, and stillness.
The main morning practice: two hours of classical Hatha Yoga asana with expert guidance.
A wholesome, freshly prepared yogic meal. The food is part of the practice.
Philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology — the intellectual foundation of your practice.
A nourishing midday meal followed by genuine rest — essential for integration and recovery.
Pranayama, shatkarma, and supervised teaching practice where you practise instructing your peers.
The day closes in community — mantra, keertan, and the quiet joy of shared practice.
Sleep is a practice. Rest is not optional. The ashram rhythm supports your deepest recovery.
This is not a retreat where you choose your schedule. The structure is the practice. Students consistently report that the routine itself — showing up every day, every session — is one of the most transformative elements of the course.
Suitable for all levels. You do not need to be an advanced practitioner. You need to be genuinely committed. Students join from complete beginner to experienced teachers looking to deepen and formalise their training.
You will learn from teachers who have spent decades inside the practice — not teaching from a course they completed last year.
An initiated Sanyasa teacher with decades of experience in classical yoga, meditation, and yogic sciences. Swami Ji has led advanced trainings across premier academic institutions, government bodies, and public organisations across India.
A deeply experienced practitioner and teacher in the classical Hatha lineage, Yogendra Ji guides students through asana, pranayama, and the subtle dimensions of practice with clarity, warmth, and precision.
"Our teachers are not celebrity instructors who fly in for a weekend. They live here. They practice every morning before you arrive in the hall. When they teach, they teach from lived experience — not from a curriculum deck."
Our 3-acre campus in the forested foothills outside Dehradun is not a hotel that happens to offer yoga. It was built for this — the architecture, the food, the silence, and the air itself are all part of the practice.
Spacious, light-filled practice halls with hardwood floors and natural ventilation. No air conditioning — you learn to practice in the real climate, which is itself a teaching.
Freshly prepared vegetarian meals cooked according to yogic dietary principles. The kitchen is not a canteen — it is an extension of the practice, and the food will transform how you relate to eating.
Choose from private cottages, shared rooms, or dormitories. All clean, simple, and arranged to support rest, not distraction. Included in your course fee.
A well-stocked yoga and philosophy library and quiet study areas for self-directed learning between sessions. The environment rewards curiosity.
Walk, sit, and breathe in a natural forest setting that simply does not exist in most of the world's cities. The campus itself is a reason to be here.
We encourage — and in certain periods require — time away from screens. This is one of the most quietly profound aspects of the experience for students who work in demanding careers.
Our campus consistently records among the lowest Air Quality Index readings in Dehradun. Students from urban environments routinely describe the air quality alone as something they notice in their practice, their sleep, and their energy within the first 48 hours. Surrounded by forest, away from roads, it is simply clean.
We know the questions that stop international students from applying. Here are honest, complete answers to all of them.
Jolly Grant Airport (DED) in Dehradun is the closest airport, with direct flights from Delhi (45 min). Most international students fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in New Delhi and connect.
We arrange safe, vetted pickup from Dehradun airport and station for all enrolled students. This is included in your registration. We will also assist with Delhi pickup if needed.
Most nationalities require a Tourist Visa or an e-Visa for India. Both are straightforward to obtain. We provide an official acceptance letter and course documentation to support your visa application.
Citizens of the USA, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, and most other countries can apply for an Indian e-Visa online in minutes. Processing typically takes 72–96 hours.
Every enrolled student receives personalised visa guidance from our admissions team — including the exact letter format you need, what to declare at the border, and any country-specific considerations.
Dehradun is a calm, educated city with a strong yoga and wellness community. Our campus is a closed residential facility — you are not navigating India alone. All meals, transport, and activities are fully arranged.
There are several good hospitals and clinics in Dehradun within 15 minutes of our campus. We maintain a first-aid station on site and have a protocol for any medical needs that arise during the course.
The entire course is taught in English by teachers who are highly experienced with international students. You do not need any Hindi or Sanskrit knowledge.
INR (Indian Rupee). ATMs are available 10 minutes from campus. Cards are accepted in the city. Day-to-day expenses on campus beyond your fee are minimal.

Best value for budget-conscious students. You'll share a dormitory with fellow trainees — many find it builds the deepest friendships.
Our most popular option. Private room shared with one other student — the balance of community and personal space.
For those who need genuine solitude between sessions. Your own space for deep reflection and uninterrupted rest.
"I came thinking I'd leave with a certificate. I left with a completely different relationship to my body, my mind, and what I thought yoga was. The teachers are the real thing — not instructors, masters."
"As someone who'd practiced yoga for 8 years, I was nervous about being a beginner again. This school treated me exactly right. The depth of the curriculum and the personal attention from teachers is rare."
"I was anxious about travelling alone to India as a woman. The school arranged everything — pickup, support, a genuinely safe environment. Within 24 hours I felt completely at home."
"The daily routine felt impossible in week one. By week three it felt like the most natural thing I'd ever done. I've been teaching for a year now. My students can tell the difference."
"The food, the air, the forest — I didn't expect the environment itself to be such a powerful part of the training. By day five my sleep had transformed. By week two my whole nervous system felt different."
"I've done several teacher trainings across India and Bali. This is the only one where I felt the teachers genuinely cared about who I was becoming, not just whether I passed the assessment."
Completely. Many of our students come to India for the first time for this course, and we have designed the entire experience to make that transition smooth and safe. We meet you at the airport, the campus is fully self-contained, all meals are prepared, and our team is available around the clock. You will be in a community of like-minded international students, not navigating India alone.
Yes. The course is explicitly designed for both beginners and advanced practitioners. What matters is your commitment, not your current level of flexibility or strength. Several of our most successful graduates had never attended a yoga class before they enrolled. The 28-day structure gives even beginners the progression they need to graduate with confidence.

Yes. A significant proportion of our students are solo women travelling internationally. Dehradun is one of India's more relaxed and educated cities, and our campus is a closed, secure residential environment. We have multiple female staff members, clear community guidelines, and a no-tolerance policy on conduct that makes anyone uncomfortable. We will arrange all transport and you are never left navigating unfamiliar territory alone.
All our meals are vegetarian and prepared according to yogic dietary principles. We accommodate most dietary requirements — vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-related restrictions with advance notice. Please disclose any significant health conditions during the application process so we can advise appropriately. We are not a medical facility, but we take wellbeing seriously and will ensure your needs are met.
28 days. A forest in the Himalayas. Teachers who have given their lives to this tradition. A small group of people from around the world who have chosen something deeper. This is what you are choosing.
